  Estia’s Back Porch Cafe is located in Darien, CT at 1020 Post Road (in the back of the building).
  
  This is a restaurant that I have enjoyed going to multiple times. The cafe’s atmosphere is very colorful with the light blue and white walls and plenty of sunlight though the large windows. Beautiful paintings and photographs of people swimming and horseback riding, and the American flag were displayed throughout the restaurant. Soothing music was played softly in the background for example he song “One Day”by Life Vest Inside.
  
  The staff welcomed my mom and I with a friendly smile. When we sat down I noticed that the person at the table next to us was taking a long time to order and kept changing her mind about what shen was going to order. However, the waiter was very knowledgeable and patient. Overall, they made the dining experience pleasant and enjoyable. Dressed in white, a staff member gave us details for an interesting menu and we were served efficiently.
  
  For an appetizer I ordered a caesar salad. When it came out, it looked so delicious I could not wait to eat it! For starters, it was happily missing those disgusting sardines which most restaurants place on top even if I ask to have it without them. The salad was neatly organized from bottom to top like a pyramid. This looked so much better than the usual caesar salad because it wasn't all mixed together. This part of the meal I would rate a four out of five. The only thing that I think they could have done better was add a little more croutons and less ceasar salad dressing.
  
  For my main course, I enjoyed a hamburger called “All American on a Roll” without the cheese. It was perfectly cooked to the exact medium temperature (a rare thing that most restaurants don’t get right) that I requested. The hamburger was juicy and thick, bursting with flavor, I would give the hamburger five stars. The size was just right for a hungry teenage girl. However, they put too much food on my plate. They could have skipped the cole slaw, especially since I just had a salad. My mom’s main course was the daily special. It was an interesting combination of quinoa, corn, lettuce, tomato, a scrambled egg white, and grilled chicken. I was too invested in my hamburger to have a taste of her dish, but the way she ate every last forkful on the plate told me it was also five stars. In my opinion the chief did a nice job.
  
  Estia’s Back Porch Cafe has a full bar, serving everything from wine to root beer to lemonade. Most restaurants that I have gone to do not have root beer but I was happily shocked that this restaurant does. The prices for most of the items on the menu were relatively inexpensive compared to many of the restaurants in Greenwich. For example, my full hamburger dinner was about $10.
  
  In conclusion, I thought the whole meal experience gets 8 stars out of 10. There could have been more croutons and less dressing on my salad and not as much food on my main course plate. I recommend this restaurant in Darien, Connecticut if you are passing by.

  Farm to table concept. Love is fresh and great service. The food is great! It feels like a steal. Just amazed always come here when in town with family and friends and they all love it

  Had lunch here with an old friend. She is a long time Darienite and didn't even know about the place. Great food every time I've been here and she loved it. Only thing that was disappointing was that the waitress said to switch out the fruit on the omelet for a little green salad would mean an up charge.
